We started with one
simple belief.
Every meal deserves another chance. The food made with care by your neighborhood kitchen should never end up in a landfill. FEED exists to bridge that final distance — between surplus and someone who would love it.
A short story, told honestly.
The napkin sketch
Two chefs, one shared problem. Every night they threw out good food while neighbors walked home hungry. They sketched a marketplace on a napkin in an Amsterdam café.
Three neighborhoods
28 partner kitchens in De Pijp, Jordaan, and Oud-West. The first 10,000 meals rescued felt like a million. We knew we were onto something.
Europe opens up
Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona. The team grew to 28 people. Half a million meals later, we still write every chef a personal thank-you.
And counting
62 cities, 1,200+ kitchens, 184,500+ meals rescued. We're just getting warmed up. The next chapter is built together — with you.
The people behind FEED.
Chefs, engineers, designers, and one very persistent cat.
